In the middle of the rice fields and surrounded by beautiful green hills, the location of Tirta Gangga is so peaceful and beautiful. Tirta Gangga is a royal water palace belonging to the royal family of Karangasem. Located at Ababi village, about 83 km from Denpasar or 6 km north of Amlapura, the capital of the Regency of Karangasem.

There are 3 levels in this location, the very top is the source of the springs which are still used by Hindus as holy water for prayer. A source of pure water at Tirta Gangga

This source of water produces pure water. One third of the water flow is used to provide drinking water for the town of Amlapura. Some streamed to the upper pool through underground pipes, while others went into the lower pool and to irrigate the rice fields that surround this water park.
